Il Balcone sul Mare is a bright, recently renovated home on the Syracuse seafront, in a quiet, authentic residential neighbourhood.

The sea is right in front, the Rossana Maiorca cycle path runs directly below, and Ortigia is about 5 minutes by car or 35 minutes on foot.

The house offers welcoming, well-kept spaces, designed for a relaxed way to experience Syracuse — sea, city and neighbourhood life.

Il Balcone sul Mare sits along the Syracuse coast, directly on the Rossana Maiorca cycle path, over 6 km of scenic route built on the old railway line.

Cliffs, Mediterranean scrub and sea line the way; on the clearest days, looking north, you can even spot Mount Etna.

Ortigia is about 35 minutes on foot, or 5 minutes by bus or car. If you’re driving, keep in mind the ZTL (restricted traffic zone): details are on the municipality’s website.

The Greek Theatre, which hosts INDA’s celebrated classical performances every May and June, is about 8 minutes by car.

Pick up a car at Catania Airport and follow directions to the Bar Tunisi area. Parking inside the condominium is available when a space is free.

Take Interbus to Syracuse (Corso Umberto 196), then continue by taxi to the apartment. A convenient choice with luggage.

From the Interbus terminus, walk to the Corso Umberto I stop near no. 138 and take city bus 107 to Viale Tunisi 74 (Bar Tunisi). The apartment is about a 4-minute walk from there. Check service times for your travel date.
